Founded in 2022, UbiClinic is here to empower a generation of medical professionals to launch, manage and grow their own private medical businesses.
UbiClinic is creating a innovative web-based clinical services platform that will provide on-demand room booking to independent private practitioners. By levelling the barriers of entry to private practice, and by streamlining the complex setup involved UbiClinic will encourage a broader range of clinicians to take their first steps into private practice.
Our vision is a new way of providing healthcare: Healthcare in the hands of practitioners. Healthcare directly tailored to patient needs. Healthcare that leverages maximum usage of available medical resources.
UbiClinic was founded by two graduates affiliated with QUBIS, the innovation arm of Queen’s University Belfast and was a participant of its QUEST 2024 accelerator scheme.
We are co-funded by the UK’s innovation agency, Innovate UK.
Our company trading name is NowDoctor Ltd. We previously used that as our brand name before becoming UbiClinic, to reflect our broadened vision.

Dr. Andrew Parke
Founder & Managing Director.
Andrew Parke founded UbiClinic with a vision to enhance healthcare by empowering practitioners through technology. Recognising the strains on the NHS and the growing need for personalised healthcare, he envisioned UbiClinic as the health platform of the future - paving the way to a more tailored health service that frees practitioners from a conventional medical career to offer exceptional care to their patients.
A fully qualified general practitioner, Andrew also contributes to the medical field with published research in Global Health from the University of Maastricht. His unique blend of clinical expertise, academic insight, and entrepreneurial spirit drives NowDoctor’s mission to revolutionise healthcare provision.

Co-Founder & Software Engineer
Mark Brown has over five years of comprehensive software development experience - delivering for clients and institutions. He brings the technical expertise that will build and sustain the NowDoctor platform.
Specializing in full-stack web development, .NET and Linux systems administration, he possesses a thorough skill set that includes expertise in C#, ASP.NET, MS-SQL, and Entity Framework Core. His web development experience extends to mastering technologies such as JavaScript, Vue.js, JQuery, and CSS.
Passionate about his field, Mark actively maintains his own open-source projects as a personal hobby.
