Terms and Conditions for Survey and Competition

Effective Date: 17th August 2024

These Terms and Conditions govern the survey and competition run by NowDoctor Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By participating in the survey and entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Survey and Competition Period

  • The survey will commence on 17th August 2024.
  • The competition will close at 12:00 PM BST on 28th September 2024.
  • The winner of the £50 Amazon voucher will be announced on or after 28th September 2024.

2. Eligibility

  • The competition is open only to medical practitioners who are residents of the United Kingdom.
  • Participants must be aged 18 or over.
  • Employees of NowDoctor Ltd. and its affiliates, including Queen's University Belfast, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate. Current students and graduates of Queen's University Belfast are not excluded from this survey.

3. Survey Purpose

  • The survey is conducted as part of the QUBIS customer discovery scheme, affiliated with Queen's University Belfast.
  • The data collected will be used for both academic and commercial purposes, including market research.

4. Entry to the Competition

  • To enter the competition, participants must complete the survey and provide their name and email address upon being redirected to our corporate website after the survey.
  • Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
  • Entries received after the closing date of 28th September 2024 will not be accepted.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

  • The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received before the competition closing date.
  • The winner will be notified via the email address provided at the time of entry.
  • If the winner does not respond within 14 days of being notified, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

6. Prize

  • The prize for this competition is a £50 Amazon voucher.
  • The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
  • We reserve the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.

7. Data Privacy

  • All data collected during the survey will be anonymized, and there will be no link between the participant's survey responses and their provided email address.
  • The data will be used solely for research purposes and will not be shared with third parties except as part of anonymized research findings.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • NowDoctor Ltd. accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the competition or accepting the prize.
  • NowDoctor Ltd. further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or accessing any materials in connection with the competition.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland.
  • Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.

10. General Conditions

  • We reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the survey and competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances or technical difficulties beyond our control.
  • By participating in the survey and entering the competition, you consent to these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
